Bethany Canchola
Bethany Canchola is a Washington-based director, actor, and writer who fell in love with performing at an early age after attending her first play at The Olympia Little Theater. She is an alumna of The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Hollywood and has produced, directed, and appeared in a wide variety of film, theater and music video projects including “Asphalt Angels”. In 2017 she was diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) a rare and debilitating condition that would eventually leave her unable to walk, derailing her professional and creative ambitions. With the help and support of her husband, Nicholas, Bethany regained her health and in 2022 they returned to her hometown of Olympia, Washington where they quickly became active in the local film community. Bethany is happy to be producing, directing and acting again. Her most recent works include acting in TC Media’s “Live at Five” and producing & directing the short film “Twisted” which was selected for the 2024 West Sound Film Festival.
