Laurie Gabriel

Over ten years experience working on projects. Volunteered on Seattle productions as 1st A.D., Research and Transcriptionist, Set P.A. and Set Dresser.

Graduated The Seattle Film Institute's 40-week immersion program in 2007.  Right after graduation I wrote, directed and produced numerous short movies. My short, "Has Been Island" was the official selection in two festivals.  Hired to write a feature length screenplay for Leslie Bloom of Big Kid Films.  Co-wrote, directed and produced four, comedy web episodes that my partner and I are turning into a t.v. series.  Our first episode is the official selection in two film festivals.

Assisted in the development of "Intergalactic Space Rangers", a global, collaborative project written for the web. Wrote a comedy web episode for "Awkward Moments With Jesus".

Organized three public screenings of local movies and films in Portland.
