STEPHANIE HOUGH is an experimental filmmaker whose work explores repetition, gender, relationships and emotional landscapes. A graduate of Portland State University and the Film Center’s Certificate Program, her short film HEART (16mm) screened in the NW Filmmakers’ Festival, Portland International Film Festival, at the TriBeca Film Center, BendFilm and more, and SPOOKY ACTION AT A DISTANCE (Super 8) was featured as part of the Film Center’s GLOBAL CLASSROOM series, and appearing on Lower Boom Presents’ tv channel at the Eastlund Hotel. As the Equipment Manager for the Film Center, she provides technical support to students of all levels and to community members renting equipment for personal and non-profit use. She is also a producer for Alpha Media and freelance cinematographer specializing in analog content and serves as Vice President on the board for Women In Film-PDX.
