Sonya Davis

Sonya Davis is an actor, writer, and producer living here in beautiful Portland, Oregon.  She received her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from the University of Oregon and continued her acting studies in the Pacific Northwest, Los Angeles, and New York.  She studied in LA at Lonsdale-Smith Studios and Anthony Meindl’s Actor Workshops and now practices improv at Curious Comedy Theatre. She originated the role of Reevie Nichols at The Manhattan Repertory Theatre in New York for a new play called, The Crinoline Arc. Sonya has performed roles in television shows Grimm and The Librarians and has appeared in commercials for Microsoft, Progresso Soup, Columbia, Nintendo, and many more.  Her latest independent films include Alvin, a psychological thriller shot in Seattle, and The Sugar Moon Tribe, a lesbian family film shot in San Francisco and Berkeley. She wrote, acted in, and produced the short film Roomies and co-directed/wrote "Well Lit" a play for the 24 hour play festival, Haywire. Sonya teaches acting at The Studio Northwest.
