Annie Tonsiengsom

Annie Tonsiengsom is Executive Producer, Owner and co-founder of Actual Industries, an end-to-end video production company located in Portland, Oregon. She leads the company's producers on all work that Actual Industries creates.

A versatile media professional with two decades of experience, Ms. Tonsiengsom's has produced broadcast television programs for The Food Network, a nationally syndicated home improvement show, cooking programming on Oregon Public Broadcasting, documentary work, product overviews, digital campaigns, and broadcast work for organizations and companies such as Google, Amazon, The Oregon Culinary Institute, The City of Portland, Harry & David, Costco and Nike.

Every project Ms. Tonsiengsom takes on involves thoughtful coordination to address client concerns and direction of production staff. Her management supports every step of the process in project creation, from research, concept generation, and storyboarding to scriptwriting, production coordination and management, creative direction, production, and post-production - including editing, graphic design, computer graphic animation, sound sweetening, and music licensing.

Ms. Tonsiengsom's work has aired on The Food Network, Fine Living Channel, and PBS; supports creative online campaigns, outlines company missions and product benefits; and communicates critical policies for a global audience for Fortune 500 companies.

Annie is a graduate of Brown University, with a Master's Degree in TV, Radio and Film production from Syracuse University's Newhouse School of Communications. She is currently a member of the Portland Chapter of Women in Fllm and the Oregon Media Production Association.
