Director, Screenwriter, Producer

Until I was 14 years old, I moved between Mumbai and New Jersey. Hence, I consider myself as much of an immigrant as American and my stories frequently reflect upon the immigrant experience and its resulting generation gap. While pursuing an art degree at Parsons School of Design, I discovered my love for storytelling and proceeded to get a MFA in writing and directing from UCLA. My first feature film, Love Goes Through Your Mind, premiered at the Austin Film Festival and is currently streaming on CPICS.TV, a platform that commissioned a ten-episode mini-series which I was given the opportunity to co-write and direct called Chutney Manor, about an agoraphobic motel owner who hasn't stepped out of his property in over twenty years and estranged, hotheaded daughter who returns back hell-bent on getting him out. Through the creation of these past few projects, I realized my love for bringing character-driven stories about the Asian American experience to life. When not working on projects, I enjoy hiking and exploring new lands, painting, and pondering whether dogs have an internal monologue.
