Lilly Lion

Before discovering her passion for writing and directing, Lilly was a theater actor growing up in the small town of Ashland, Oregon.

During college, she studied film at Université Lumière Lyon 2 for a year and graduated from University of Oregon with a dual degree in Cinema Studies and French. Lilly has been a local PA on TV shows such as Portlandia, and most recently has been working as a freelance Assistant Editor for Portland agencies and production companies. She has worked on projects for Nike, The Sunrise Movement PDX, Street Books, and Portland State University to name a few.

Lilly is also a screenwriter, and her screenplays have placed as a semifinalist in competitions such as Austin Film Festival, Screencraft, and Get It Made. She writes coming of age stories that surround friendship and familial conflict, as well as narratives involving social activism. She loves being a lion, acting and performing, and collaborating on you’re independent film project.
