Laurie Gabriel

Writing my fourth screenplay. Have written a thriller and a drama. I'm now in the midst of rewrites on a Science Fiction/Fantasy manuscript. My writing partner and I are working on rewrites of our T.V. Series. Two episodes so far.

Sold a feature screenplay to Leslie Bloom of "Big Kid Films" in 2021. Action/Adventure. Audience is geared towards middle, school kids.

I graduated film school in 2007.

After school, I volunteered on a bunch of Seattle, independent, movie productions. Then, I moved to Portland, Oregon. During Covid, I was lucky enough to be in a workshop group that was led by Austin Savage. He taught us his Master's, level, screenwriting course. I also was paid to read and score pilots for the "Classic Plaza Film Festival". Mr. Savage was a Script Coordinator for the festival.

A few years ago, I read and gave feedback in the "Austin Film Festival".

And one of my short films (wrote and directed) was an official selection in "The Portland International Film Festival".
