Judy Jiang

Judy Jiang is a writer and emerging filmmaker born and raised in Oregon. Her writing and art can be found in Oregon Humanities, Buckman Journal, Gumball Poetry, and elsewhere. Her work as a playwright has been produced by Theatre Diaspora in Portland, Oregon as part of a staged reading of ten-minute plays. Judy has been awarded a Periplus Fellowship and an Anaphora Arts Residency Fellowship for her prose writing. As a facilitator, teaching artist, and yoga instructor, Judy creates containers for somatic-awareness, self-compassion, and creative expression. She has supported and taught creative writing lessons and yoga classes in the Portland Metro area. Judy is currently at work on a memoir on daughterhood and loss. She is most free when making art, hiking in wild landscapes, meditating, practicing yoga, and singing & dancing.
