Andre “Dregray” Gray

I am an independent film producer, director, editor, disability activist & board member at CymaSpace. I am a Person of Color, born Deaf & raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. I attended Rochester Institute of Technology in New York. I studied graphic communication & engaged in social causes. I relocated to Oregon in 2016. Advancing glaucoma claimed 12.5% percent of my vision, propelling me to establish Beyond Tone; a resource for DHH communication access. Now I direct documentaries, short films, & shoot/edit film footage for a number of regional & nationally-known Deaf artists.
