Roberta Cumbiancchera

Director, Producer, Production Assistant

Roberta is an immigrant filmmaker from Argentina, born and raised. She is fluent in Spanish and English.
She has produced over 6 short films in her country, one of which was selected different international film festivals, including the Portland Underground Film Festival and BARS (Buenos Aires Rojo Sangre). She’s been living in Portland since 2018, and as a director-producer is focusing in bringing a new, more realistic vision and representation of the immigrant communities in film, based on her own experience.
Roberta attended the I.D.A.C, Avellaneda Film School, a popular film school located in Buenos Aires, Argentina, specializing in documentaries and film production, and won the 2020'S Willamette Writers Film Lab, to direct a pilot.
