Rebecca Fisher

Production Designer, Screenwriter, Production Assistant

Portland local art department assistant/coordinator for film and television. Aspiring Production Designer. I'm Sicilian American, mixed euro, and Seneca/Tuscarora Native living in Portland. I'm a graduate of Oregon Lead, and member of the new Indigenous Media Guild Region 1 (PNW). I've always loved film, and I've had the opportunity these past few years to actually work in film. I began with two short educational documentaries for local non profits, where I was given creative license to direct, work camera, and edit. I have been given access to work on larger scale projects via Outside The Frame's PA Bootcamp, and then through The Pathways Program created by OMPA and The Oregon Film Office. I found my home in the art department- I love everything the art department involves, and the thought, creativity, and attention to detail it demands.
When I'm not working, I like spending time with family at local powwows and other events in our native community, and attending standup and live music shows. I like making art, taking road trips, and hanging with friends and fam. Own a small business on the side making beadwork with my older child, which we sell at NAYA Marketplace, local powwows, and also sometimes at Portland Indigenous Marketplace.
